In the recently concluded BT-Mercer-TNS Best Employer Survey 2006, Satyam was ranked as the 3rd Best Place to Work for in India. This prestigious survey is an acknowledged benchmark that recognizes outstanding People processes & practices across industries. And Satyam’s top ranking is a true reflection of it’s avowed commitment to Associate Delight and Leadership Development within the organization.

The BT-Mercer-TNS Best Employers Survey is conducted across India through a multi-level and multi-perspective methodology involving both quantitative and qualitative responses. The survey seeks to explore and unravel the key drivers of exemplary people management, and brings to light –the companies in India, which are the Best Companies to Work For –highlighting the aspects of the company culture, HR processes and work practices that make them stand out.

The BT-Mercer-TNS award recognizes Satyam’s commitment to create a conducive workplace that nurtures, grows and retains the intellectual capital in the organization.

The Best Companies to Work For in India-study has been designed keeping in mind the principles of accessibility, online updation, transparency and confidentiality. The survey typically extends over a period of two months of gaining an understanding of the people practices and perceptions of key stakeholders of the participating companies. Conducted online through interactions with various stakeholders of the company, the survey captures responses randomly, and analyzes them subsequently to arrive at the results.
