The Mahindra Satyam Campus recruitment process is a custom designed process that does not believes in “elimination leading to selection” but one that is designed to bring out the best of potential in every participating student.

Who is eligible?

As an organization that is committed to nurturing leaders within, Mahindra Satyam’s focus on quality is unflinching and consistent across the Company. The talent acquisition process is custom designed so as to meet the business requirement for skilled resources in the best possible manner.

The eligibility criteria which qualifies students to take part in the recruitment drives is thus decided and articulated taking into consideration the desired academic consistency, subject knowledge delivered as part of the course curriculum, age at the time of joining the company as a fresher or lateral.

The criterion is subject to change at the discretion of the Company, factoring the evolving business need. The eligibility criteria for students to take part in a Campus recruitment drive is as follows:

For the batch of students passing out in academic year of 2008-2009

Technical Skills

From a four-year B.Tech course or a thre-year MCA course

Academic:
- B.Tech: Admitted in 2005-passing out 2009;
- Specific branches in B.Tech
- MCA: Admitted in 2006-passing out 2009
- Passing out with at least 60% in BE or MCA (=>60% in Degree for MCAs)
- Ensure CGPA on conversion is =>60%
- X & XII (all subjects included) =>60% (5% relaxation in any one)
Backlogs/back papers:
- Not more than 2 backlogs in the entire course of B.Tech/MCA or should not have failed in more than 2 papers in the entire course
Gap in education:
- Not more than 1 year gap in education for any reason

From a three-year B.Sc. or a three-year BCA course

Academic:
- Admitted in 2006-passing out in 2009;
- Specific branches in B.Sc.
- Passing out with at least 60% aggregate
- If CGPA, on conversion it should be =>60%
- X & XII (all subjects included) =>60% (5% relaxation in any one)
Non-CS/IT students: Must complete before joining a Diploma from APTECH/NIIT/CMC/Anna University that is of at least 6 months duration
Backlogs:
- No backlogs. Should have cleared all papers in first attempt. Should not have failed even in a single exam.
Gap in education:
- Not more than 1 year gap in education for any reason

From a three-year diploma/mechanical course

Academic:
- Admitted in 2006-passing out in 2009 (also eligible: students admitted in 2005-passed out in 2008)
- Only Diploma- Mechanical branch
- Passing out with at least 60% aggregate (CGPA on conversion should be =>60%)
- If CGPA, on conversion it should be =>60%
- X & XII (all subjects included) =>60%
Backlogs:
- No backlogs. Should have cleared all papers in first attempt. Should not have failed even in a single exam.
Gap in education:
- Not more than 1 year gap in education for any reason

Management Skills

Academic:
- Two year MBA: Admitted in 2007-passing out 2009
- Specific branches
- Passing out with at least 60%
- Ensure CGPA on conversion is =>60%
- Graduation (all subjects included) =>60%
- X & XII (all subjects included) =>60% (5% relaxation in any one)
Backlogs/back papers:
- Not more than 2 backlogs in the entire course. Should not have failed in more than 2 papers in the entire course
- No arrears at the time of joining
Gap in education:
- Not more than 1 year gap in education for any reason (for freshers only)
Laterals:
- Atleast 24 months of relevant work experience

Eligibility criteria is subject to change as per changing requirement. Criteria shared with the college during the campus recruitment process is final
Eligible students are not charged participation fee by Mahindra Satyam to take part in the recruitment process
Mahindra Satyam recruits freshers only through 'On Campus' recruitment events and the process does not extend to aspirants directly applying for a post either through this website or otherwise.

Information formats

The talent acquisition process starts with the Campus sharing with the Mahindra Satyam HR process owner, data of the students who qualify to take part by meeting the eligibility criteria. The data is required to be captured in a specifically designed format. The format to be used is different for each category of students such as B.Tech/MCAs, B.Sc/BCA /MBA and others coming under a special recruitment drive.
